Privacy policy

Plain English, and short on purpose. If anything here isn't clear, ask us and we'll explain it directly.

What we collect

Only what you choose to share. If you send us an enquiry, that's your name, email, business name, and the answers you give us about what you need, your timeframe, team size, and budget. If you email us directly, it's whatever your message contains. We don't ask for sensitive personal information, and you shouldn't send it.

Why we collect it

To reply to you, to come to a first conversation prepared, and to work out whether we're a good fit. That's it. We don't sell your data, we don't rent it, and we don't add you to a marketing list you didn't ask for.

Who else touches it

A small number of service providers, each doing one job:

  • Web3Forms — delivers the contact form to our inbox.
  • Google Workspace — hosts our email, so your enquiry lands there.
  • Vercel — hosts this website and keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
  • Microsoft Clarity — shows us how pages are used (where people scroll and click) through heatmaps and anonymised session replays. It only runs if you accept the banner, and it masks anything you type.
  • Google Analytics — tells us which pages people read. It sets cookies in your browser. You can block them with your browser settings or an ad blocker, and the site works exactly the same.

Some of these providers are based overseas, which means your information may be stored or processed outside Australia.

Your data when we work together

Wherever possible we build inside the platforms you already own, so your business data stays in the systems you control rather than moving into ours. Where an engagement needs something different, we agree it with you in writing first. Our Trust & Security page explains the approach in full.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our inbox so we have a record of the conversation. If we don't end up working together and you'd rather we didn't keep it, say so and we'll delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@adaptd.ai and we'll action it — no forms, no runaround. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
